🔥 Fire Outbreak


Lagos : A fire outbreak at the popular Ladipo plank market, Baale Roundabout, Orile-Iganmu, Lagos State destroys property worth millions of naira.


Advisory : Refrain from visiting the Ladipo plank market and its surroundings until the area is declared safe by authorities .Safety precautions is advised make sure you have an emergency evacuation plan and know the location of the nearest fire station.


🗡 Homicide


Kebbi : A businessman killed by a stray bullet during a violent protest in Yauri local government area of Kebbi State.


Advisory : Avoid protest areas and steer clear of Yauri and any areas where protests are occurring. If caught in a protest, move to a safe location immediately and avoid confrontations. Have an emergency plan in place, including knowing the nearest safe spots and medical facilities.


❌⚠️ Infrastructural Sabotage


Bayelsa : The Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, disclosed on Thursday that two transmission towers, T98 and T99, along the Ahoada/Yenagoa 132kV line, collapsed following attacks by vandals.


Advisory : Prepare for outage and ensure you have alternative power sources such as generators or battery backups. Stock up on essential supplies in case of prolonged power outages.


⚠️ Theft


Federal Capital Territory : The Police Special Fraud Unit arraigned students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, and Resign Regal Academy, Timothy Oluwabukola and Anthony Odemerho, for allegedly hacking MTN Nigeria Communication Plc’s computers and stealing airtime and data valued at N1.9bn.


Advisory : Protect your data and be cautious with sharing personal information and ensure your digital devices are secure with strong passwords and updated antivirus software. Regularly monitor your accounts for any suspicious activities and report them to your service provider.
